Papillary Glioneuronal Tumor Masquerading as Malignant Brain Tumors: A Case Report

Papillary glioneuronal tumor (PGNT) is a low-grade biphasic that composed of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP)-positive cells and synaptophysin-positive neurons. We report case PGNT occurring in the right occipital lobe 48-year-old woman who presented with acute headache left homonymous hemianopsia, latter which was difficult to distinguish from malignant brain tumors because peritumoral edema, intratumoral hemorrhage, intraoperative fluorescence staining. should be included as one differential diagnoses cases where shows hemorrhagic change despite decreased perfusion arterial spin labeling MRI.
